Capture Your Ideas Right When You Think Of Them

Capturing your ideas right when they occur to you is life-changing! Here is why.

Greetings, Dr. Stephie here. Today, my nugget is this: Capture your ideas right when they occur to you. Right when you think of them, capture them.

That means write them down somewhere. I love to use Notion. I can use the Notion app on my phone and, of course, on my desktop. It’s called Notion.

If you want to use something else, that’s fine:

  • Evernote
  • A piece of paper – although with a piece of paper, please make it electronic as soon as possible.

Make sure that you can make it searchable. Put it into something that’s electronically searchable. That way, you have your ideas readily at your fingertips when it’s time to

  • Produce content
  • Look at which of those ideas you want to realize
  • Realize the ideas you have chosen

Because otherwise, all these fantastic ideas you had, just slipped off into the night as if they were some sort of snake or whatever metaphor you want to use.

I’m Curious

I invite you to please capture your ideas right when you think of them – and see what happens in your life as a result. Test it for a week and see what happens!

Yes, it is a great thing – and you are right, it is about building that habit! 🙂

I still like pen and paper, but for writing larger amounts of stuff electronic is way better.

I like pen and paper, too – that is why I love my Remarkable tablet for some notes or sketchibg ideas. But eventually, what needs to be kept needs to be converted to electronic, searchable information.
