Greetings, Dr. Stephie here. Let’s talk about habits. Some habits serve us, and other habits don’t. And as we want to increase our success and happiness in life, it often involves forming new habits. Now, how can you do that? Now? You can, of course, have a coach follow you at every moment of your life. That’s a little impractical. Most of my clients usually only see me once a week.
But what you can do is create a habit tracker. Guess what? I do this for myself as well. If I see a habit I have difficulty adopting, I put it on my habit tracker. Guess what? Whatever you track will get better.
You can do this in several ways. One of which is to use the App Notion. In Notion, it’s straightforward to set up a little table with columns for each day and have a check box for each day. You exercise the habit and make a checkmark once you are done.
What is a habit that you would like to adopt and finally implement? Put that habit on your tracker.
One more thing. Don’t put too many habits on your habit tracker. I’ve done that at times, and it can be challenging. I invite you to set yourself up for success. Just track a one, two, or maybe three habits. Don’t track 20 habits! Instead, focus on one and make it happen. Then you can focus on the next one.
Have fun with it!
