Greetings, Dr. Stephie here. How can you get the most out of attending a seminar or anything that you learned by reading a book or even having a conversation?
I think the trick is this: Write down the key takeaways, the a-ha’s. Even if it’s just one, write it down and then review it afterward. It is helpful even if it is only a quick review.
Pick at least one thing that you are going to do and implement. If you don’t implement it, what’s the purpose of all that learning? I mean, it’s nice, but let’s put it to use. That’s how you create a difference. That’s how you soar.
While this “trick” is obvious, so many people don’t do it.
I invite you to get more out of the things you learn by implementing! Be a fast adopter of the things that make sense to you.
I’m Curious
Which one thing you learned recently could you implement? When will you do it?
